Power over Ethernet (PoE) – Receive power and data through a single cable. PoE allows IP (internet protocol) devices to receive power and data over existing LAN (local area network) cabling. This eliminates the need to install a separate power cable, simplifies installation, and lowers cabling costs.
H.265 Compression – The H.265 high-efficiency coding not only reduces bandwidth but also decreases storage requirements, improving overall system performance by up to 40%. H.265 can double surveillance recording duration compared with H.264, and supports up to 7 times the number of video cameras compared with H.264.
